I don’t remember when was the last time I wanted a piece of clothing so badly
I know, I know. It’s not even Summer, barely even Spring, and the fashion world has already moved on to Fall 2013. For all you know they could be moved on to Spring 2014. It feels like you’re always playing “catch up” looking at who came out with what, when.
Confusing can sometimes be an understatement.
In a small attempt to ease some of this chaos, i’m going to showcase one designer a week so you get that little feeling of being in the know. Or at least, not stuck on McQueen Fall 2010 (but that’d be okay because it was an phenom collection).
Whenever a new season begins, I look towards the two M’s. M&M, if you’d like. Mc Queen and Marchesa. Marchesa Fall 2013 looks beautiful, intermixing vibrant purples with their deep counterparts. Some steel grey, and even hot red. It all comes together beautifully. Get excited for Fall 2013, not overwhelmed. It’s easy to do.

I had to share with you these sketches that I discovered while researching for my dissertation.
As part of their collaboration with Disney, Harrods have asked some of the worlds leading designers to re-design some of the most famous Disney princesses outfits.
The sketches range from Little Mermaid by Marchesa, Pocahontas by Roberto Cavalli to Cinderella by Versace!
My favourite definitely has to be Sleeping Beauty who was re-designed by Elie Saab.
